Storage In Your Caravan

Updated: Apr 4, 2022

Making The Most Of Your Space!

Storage in a caravan is everything. There is nothing worse than tripping over things or not knowing where something is. Trust me, I've been there!! So here's six great ways to maximize your storage and keep things tidy.

Remote Control Holders

Wall mounted organizers are a great way to know where your remotes are. Easily positioned on the wall near the bed or couch for easy access. Never lose a remote again. Check out the one we use in our caravan here:

Over The Sink Rack

These over the sink racks have many uses. Dish drying rack, defrosting food rack, throw a bag in it and use it as a bin while peeling veggies or use it to store those little bits and pieces in. I find it great to store our dishwashing soap, cloths, lunch dishes we haven't done whilst we are moving. Its fully adjustable too, so accommodates to most sink sizes. You can see it here :

Plastic Tubs

Plastic tubs are the bees knees of caravan storage. They can be used for so many things. We love using them in our kitchen to store our packets of pasta, stir fry sauces and noodles etc. They really keep the cupboards so much more manageable. I can see what I have on hand! We also use them below our kitchen sink, to store our fly spray, aeroguard, sunscreen and dishwashing liquid. No messy spills either because they are in the tub. These ones with handles make grabbing them super easy too. Check them out here:

Baskets

Hanging baskets are fantastic for making use of the empty wall space. We use a medium size round one for a fruit basket and a smaller one for my shopping list notepads . Easily accessible at our table. See the two different types here :

Mop & Broom Holder

I just love these holders. Our broom stays in the one place, I'm not tripping over it and I know where it is! These clips are so easy to use just stick it where you want it and put the broom or mop handle onto the clip. Presto! I've got ours stuck on the back of our bathroom door. Works a treat. Have a look for them here:
