We are always on the lookout for activities and places to visit that the kids will love. These are a just a few we have come across on our travels that kept our kidlets entertained and smiling.
1.Renmark Big 4 - Renmark, South Australia

3.West Beach Adventure Park -West Beach, SA
If you love heights, put this place on your list! It’s the largest aerial adventure course in Australia. It’s located right next door to Big 4 West Beach Caravan Park so very handy if your staying there. There's a mega climb, giant swing, skywalk and kids course. There’s a few different course options to suit all ages and levels of adventure 🤣. Only our middle child completed the full course and did the 20m vertical drop. Crazy child 🤦🏽♀️. For the less adventurous there’s a cafe and seating to watch the kids tackle all the obstacles. There’s some cool ones too! You can go for a ride in an esky, paddle a boat in the sky, test your bike riding skills along the slackline or challenge a mate in a gladiator battle. It will seriously keep the kids entertained for hours!!
4.Thunderbird Park -Tambourine Mountain, QLD
We visited the worlds largest Thunderegg Mine at Thunderbird Park hunting for the geode-like eggs. It’s a must do activity if your kids like treasure hunting and fossicking. It was such a unique activity the whole family joined in on. After a quick rundown on what to do and what your looking for we were sent off on our way to the mine. There’s two areas to pick from but we stayed at the first area and it proved to be excellent for finding thundereggs. After we found our stash we took them back to the miners shed where you can pay a fee to have your best “eggs” cut open.
Admission includes a Souvenir Miner's Permit and the use of a pick and bucket for collecting your treasures.
